Friday Night Project

Are you bored on a Friday night? Want something fun to do to celebrate the end of the school week? Do you want to choose between loads of fun activities like X-Box, PS3 and Wii, boxing, Brazilian football, trampolining, street dance and glass painting? Plus a tuck shop if you get hungry or thirsty. Then Friday Night Project could be for you!

The Friday Night Project runs from 7.30 to 9.30 every other Friday at the Mountbatten Centre and is for young people aged 10 to 16. There are different activities each week. This youth club was set up by young people and we want it to stay like that. Young people are involved in deciding the activities put on each week, so you can get your say in what goes on.

It costs £2 to get in to the youth club or if your family is on means tested benefits you may be able to get in for free! Call the CIP office for more information and ask to speak to someone in the youth team. Come and join the other 45 to 50 young people who enjoy themselves every week.

Splash

Splash is a youth club with a difference! Developed after consultation with young people who attend the Friday Night Project who said they wanted something a little bit different to do, Splash is held in the Mountbatten Centre swimming pool every Wednesday from 7.45-9.15pm. Young people aged 10-16 can play with their friends or just have a swim.

Splash is free to attend for young people who are eligible for free school meals or whose parents are on means tested benefits. Other young people can attend for just £2 per session.
